Terms of Service

These are the terms for using PlanetIdle at www.planetidle.com (the "game"). By opening the game or buying Chapter 2: Mars, you agree to them. We've tried to keep this readable rather than a wall of legalese — but it's still the real agreement, so read the sections that matter to you.

Who we are

PlanetIdle is operated by Nova River Labs Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong ("we", "us"). You can reach us any time at [email protected].

The game

PlanetIdle is a free browser idle game. Chapter 1 (Earth) is free forever, with no account and no sign-up required. Chapter 2 (Mars) is an optional one-time purchase — see "Purchases" below. We may update, change, or occasionally take the game offline for maintenance; we'll try not to break your save when we do.

Purchases

The only paid item in PlanetIdle is Chapter 2: Mars, a one-time purchase of $4.99 USD that unlocks that chapter via a license key. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no other paid currency anywhere in the game.

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com as our merchant of record. That means Paddle — not us — handles your payment, calculates and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT, issues your receipt, and is the party billing your card or payment method. By completing a purchase you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms. If you have a billing question, a Paddle receipt, or a dispute about a charge, Paddle is usually the fastest path to an answer — but you're always welcome to email us too.

Your license to Chapter 2

When you buy Chapter 2: Mars, we issue you a license key that unlocks that chapter in the game. This is a license, not a transfer of ownership: it's personal to you, and it's non-transferable — please don't share, publish, or resell your key. We may invalidate a key that's involved in fraud, chargebacks, or a refunded purchase (see our refund policy).

No accounts, and where your save lives

PlanetIdle doesn't have user accounts. Your game progress is saved locally in your own browser (using local storage) — we never see it and we don't store a copy of it on our servers. That means we can't recover a save that's lost because you cleared your browser data, switched devices without exporting it, or reinstalled your browser. If you lose your license key for Mars, you can usually recover it from your Paddle receipt or by contacting us with your purchase details.

"As is", no guarantees

PlanetIdle is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep it running smoothly and free of bugs, but we can't promise the game will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every browser or device. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the game.

Acceptable use

Play fair. Don't attempt to break, exploit, or resell access to the game or its purchase system, and don't use the game in any way that violates applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the game or our tools change. If we make a material change, we'll revise this page — continued use of the game after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law gives you additional rights that can't be waived.
